In this role, you will:
Provide Compassionate Support : Use your unique perspective to support and advocate for individuals facing mental health or substance use challenges. Your personal experiences will be invaluable in validating and encouraging those you serve.
Offer Peer Counseling : Provide guidance and encouragement by drawing on your own recovery journey, helping others navigate their paths with empathy and understanding.

Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Currently meets and/or can meet all requirements of a nationally standardized peer support training program, including at least 30 hours of training and satisfactory completion of an examination (within 6 months of hire)
Previous participation in mental health system as recipient and willingness to convey that experience when appropriate to support others.
