Execute and record keep on appropriate corrective actions to be taken.</li><li>Review quality assurance paperwork for accuracy and verification.</li><li>Modify existing forms as needed to streamline QA workflow and increase transparency within the organization.</li><li>Communicate with departments within the company regarding product quality or record keeping issues.</li><li>Keep updated with food safety requirements, consumer protection, public health regulations, and industry best practices to ensure continued compliance with regulatory changes.</li><li>Assist Project Manager/R&amp;D Director with special projects and high priority objectives.</li></ul><p><strong>Education and/or Experience</strong></p><ul><li>A Bachelor&rsquo;s/ master&rsquo;s degree in microbiology, Food Science, or equivalent field is prefered</li><li>Minimum 3-5 years&rsquo; experience in QA, production and hands-on lab testing in food industry.</li><li>Ability to focus and prioritize duties in a rapidly changing and high demanding environment.</li><li>SQF practitioner, HACCP, PCQI, FSVP certification or the ability to become certified.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be detail oriented and computer savvy, Excel and Word.</li></ul><p><strong>Language Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to read and write in English for paperwork and the ability to understand English for training purposes.</li><li>Able to read production board, paperwork, and labels to ensure the correct product identification, packaging materials, and storage location.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p><ul><li>The majority of your shift is spent on your feet and walking about. While performing the duties of this job, you are frequently required to stand, stoop, twist, reach, stretch, kneel, bend, and walk. You may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally. The ability to hear is required for radio communication purposes.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><ul><li>The noise level is usually moderately loud but can be quiet on some days. The work environment is quick paced in close quarters.
