    "description": "<p>Catholic Charities Washtenaw Emergency Food Program has an immediate opening for a  part-time (approximately 18.75 hours a week) Coordinator. This position receives donations for the Food Bank and assists in running the food bank. This position provides assistance to a diverse population of food bank customers in a welcoming manner that respects the dignity of all those seeking assistance.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<p>Primary duties include assessing inventory, placing orders, coordinating volunteers, stocking shelves, conducting intakes, assessing and assisting customers, identifying unmet needs and providing referrals to appropriate community resources. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to, attending all required trainings/meetings and monthly reporting.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Requirements:</span></span></p>\n<p>Ideal candidate will have or be working toward a Bachelor’s degree in a human service related field. Requires scheduling flexibility. Experience conducting brief needs assessments and connecting individuals with community resources is desired and preferred.  Applicants must demonstrate the ability to work efficiently and responsibly with limited supervision and be capable of handling multiple and sometimes conflicting demands.
