This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Scan Receiving:</strong> Utilize scanners to receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and record information accurately. Conduct inspections for any package damage and report issues.</li>\n <li><strong>Stowing:</strong> Efficiently and accurately stow product into designated warehouse rack locations, ensuring proper placement and organization for easy retrieval.</li>\n <li><strong>Order Picking:</strong> Pick and stage product per assigned pick ticket. Accurately scan product from warehouse rack locations to outbound staging locations.</li>\n <li>Inventory management: Organize and maintain inventory by performing regular cycle count scans.</li>\n <li><strong>Equipment Operation:</strong> Safely operate warehouse equipment (Pallet Jacks, Hand Trucks, Forklifts, Reach Trucks, and Order Pickers.</li>\n <li><strong>Comprehension:</strong> Has the ability to understand, speak, and read English. A Warehouse Specialist I will be required to read, sign, and interpret documents to execute internal processes and is expected to escalate issues timely to not impede workflow.</li>\n <li><strong>House Keeping:</strong> Maintains a safe work area by sweeping, dusting, and removing waste from designated workspaces.</li>\n <li><strong>Safety Focused:</strong> Fully complies with OpenSquare’s safety policies and procedures, including timely reporting of all safety incidents, injuries, and property damage.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications:</u></strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><u>Education/Experience</u></p>\n<p>High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1+ years previous experience in warehouse and/or inventory control operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><u>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</u></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Certified forklift/order picker operator or has ability to be certified for forklift and order picker operation.</li>\n <li>Familiar with operating non-power equipment (pallet jacks, carts, hand trucks)</li>\n <li>Ability to clearly communicate in English both verbally and in writing.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.</li>\n <li>Dedication and commitment to promote diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion in all work activities.</li>\n <li>Collaborate within diverse teams to foster productive outcomes.</li>\n <li>Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, please apply with your resume today.
