If who we are and what we do resonates with you, we invite you to join our high-performance team!\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>Follows policies, procedures, and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations | Follows and/ or develops, assures and maintains the quality of products and processes through standard procedures & systems (e.g., ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000 & AS9100 standards), quality audits/ review process, etc. Responsibilities are within the Quality Assurance Methods Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines\n<h2>Impact of the Role</h2>\n<h3>General Profile</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Requires working knowledge and skills to perform a defined set of analytical scientific or operational processes</li>\n <li>Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within own area of expertise</li>\n <li>Works within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods</li>\n <li>Works with a moderate degree of supervision</li>\n <li>Performs manual tasks according to established procedures</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Essential Functions</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Defines and specifies activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for materials, components, or products.   </li>\n <li>Builds and maintains the infrastructure and systems necessary to consistently ensure the timely delivery of quality products.   </li>\n <li>Identifies and addresses any issues with equipment performance.  </li>\n <li>Audits, monitors, and determines the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards.   </li>\n <li>Reports and troubleshoots manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods   </li>\n <li>Conducts tests on materials or samples to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.  </li>\n <ul>\n  <h2>Required Qualifications</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Required education and experience:</strong> Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 2-5 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience</li>\n  </ul>\n  <h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Preferred education and experience:</strong> Associate's Degree</li>\n   <li><strong>Discipline/Major:</strong> Technical training preferred</li>\n   <li><strong>Knowledge, skills & abilities:</strong> Technical expertise. Ability to identify and seek needed information. Research skills. Problem-solving skills.</li>\n  </ul>\n  <h2>Physical Requirements</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.</li>\n   <li>Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds.</li>\n   <li>May need to stand for long periods of time.</li>\n   <li>Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.</li>\n   <li>May be requested to work a different shift.</li>\n   <li> Must be willing to work outside normal business hours as required. </li>\n   <li>This position is Safety-Sensitive.</li>\n  </ul>\n  <h2>Travel Requirements</h2>No or very little travel likely.\n  <h2>_____________________________</h2>The above statements describe the general nature and level of work only.
