Description

Overview InBloom Autism Services is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our diverse team at our learning center. The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for implementing client treatment plans and goals, as designed by BCBAs/BCaBAs, with utmost fidelity. The role involves providing direct one-on-one therapy, accurately collecting and recording data on client behaviors, and collaborating with supervising BCBAs/BCaBAs regarding client progress and individual client needs. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to travel to various settings (as applicable), and a commitment to client confidentiality and professional development. We have high standards for ourselves as individuals and as a company, and holding ourselves accountable allows us to continue to help more families in need while maintaining our remarkable quality. Whether you are a certified RBT or new to the field of ABA, you will go through a proprietary training program to ensure you are ready to provide the highest quality care to our kiddos. Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Direct Client Care: Provide one-on-one therapy to clients in various settings including our Centers, homes and/or schools. Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Follow the behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs to address specific behavioral goals and objectives for each client. Data Collection: Accurately collect and record data on client behaviors and responses during therapy sessions, ensuring data integrity and consistency. Progress Monitoring : Collaborate with the supervising BCBAs to track and report client progress towards behavioral goals and adjust intervention plans as needed. Behavior Reduction Techniques: Utilize approved behavior reduction techniques and strategies as outlined in the behavior intervention plan to address challenging behaviors. Skill Acquisition: Assist clients in acquiring and developing functional skills, communication abilities, and appropriate social behaviors. Parent/Caregiver Training: Provide training and support to parents/caregivers on implementing behavior intervention techniques and strategies in the home environment. Professionalism: Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in behavior analysis while maintaining client confidentiality. Documentation: Complete required paperwork, progress reports, and session notes. Communication: Maintain open communication with the BCBAs, parents/caregivers, and other team members involved in the client's treatment. Qualifications Passion for working with children and helping others. High School Diploma or GED is required. Must meet all BACB eligibility requirements to obtain RBT certification. Ability to pass the required RBT certification exam within the training period . Must obtain and maintain required RBT certification through the BACB. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time management and interpersonal skills. Prolonged periods of standing, walking, kneeling, bending, squatting, running and/orsitting in order to interact with clients. Must be able to move and lift up to 50 pounds to assist with client positioning or mobility. Adequate vision and hearing are needed to work with clients and staff. Travel required Up to 25% travel to assigned local Centers that InBloom currently provides services in, or will be providing services in, in the future.
