Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Field Radio Technician to support a 3 to 4 -month detail assignment providing nationwide inspection, maintenance, repair, and technical support for mission-critical radio communication systems. This position requires 100% travel to sites across the country to ensure the operational readiness of field equipment and supporting communications infrastructure. The ideal candidate is highly adaptable, technically proficient, and comfortable working in dynamic field environments with extensive travel demands.
Responsibilities
Install, inspect, maintain, and repair radio equipment, antennas, cabling, and associated systems. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to restore functionality and minimize downtime. Conduct preventive maintenance to extend the lifecycle of communication assets. Provide on-site testing, validation, and technical support for radio and transmission systems. Document maintenance, repairs, and inspection results in accordance with company requirements. Adhere to all safety and security standards during field operations.
