    "description_html": "<p><b>Travel COTA- Certified occupational Therapy Assistant for East Central Indiana </b>to work in Muncie, Winchester, Portland, and Gas City.</p><p>We are looking for applicants who have their Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure</p><p>We are a looking to bring on to our team, COTA's who truly care about treating residents with respect and dignity, as well as other team members.</p><p><b>Supervision received</b>: Reports directly to the immediate supervising OTR</p><p>Typical Physical Demands: Therapy Assistant must be able to perform the following physical job functions with or without reasonable accommodation:</p><ul><li>Lift up to 50lbs from floor to knuckle occasionally</li><li>Lift up to 25lbs from knuckle to shoulder occasionally</li><li>Lift up to 10lbs overhead occasionally</li><li>Pivot transfer 150lbs occasionally</li><li>Carry up to 50lbs occasionally</li><li>Push/Pull 75lbs, 100ft occasionally</li><li>Kneel, squat, stoop up to 15 minutes occasionally</li><li>Drive up to 2 hours occasionally</li><li>Comprehensible verbal communication skills continuously</li><li>Visual acuity corrected to 20/20</li><li>Tactile discrimination</li><li>Fine hand manipulation, bilaterally frequently</li><li>Heavy grasp, bilaterally frequently</li><li>Legible written communication skills continuously</li><li>Stand up to 2 hours frequently</li></ul><p><b>COTA Duties include:</b></p><ul><li>The COTA may conduct general activity programs and supportive or maintenance programs. He/She may not plan or evaluate individual or group treatment needs, but may make recommendations to the supervising OTR for consideration.</li><li>It is the responsibility of the COTA to keep communication with the other personnel regarding the patient's total treatment program, especially to the OTR who will need to make appropriate altercations in treatment program need for a specific patient, the COTA is responsible for maintaining accurate records of treatments given and all appropriated paperwork according to the policies of the company with supervising Registered Occupational Therapist to co-sign all progress notes.</li><li>COTA staff members are required to follow all established policies and procedures of the company</li></ul><p><b>The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:</b></p><ul><li>Hold current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board</li><li>Hold a permanent or be eligible to apply to apply for a COTA license to practice in the state (as applicable) through the Board of Medical Examiners.</li><li>Strong recommendation of membership to the American Occupational Therapy Association and State organizations.</li></ul><p>Full Details upon hiring.</p><p><b>OVERTIME HOURS AVAILABLE !</b></p>",
