View the comprehensive information about the competitive benefits package on our careers page then scroll down to <strong>CENTERS Benefits </strong>(click link to view).</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Work a minimum of 2 shifts per week</li>\n <li>Perform all necessary lifeguarding skills as certified by American Red Cross</li>\n <li>Respond to all medical and non-medical emergencies in the aquatics area</li>\n <li>Responsible for offering an outstanding customer experience</li>\n <li>Ensure that all risk management measures have been taken</li>\n <li>Monitor the safety of swimmers</li>\n <li>Ensure proper chemical levels in the pools and spa</li>\n <li>Continually monitor all locker room facilities</li>\n <li>Complete assigned cleaning duties of Aquatic area</li>\n <li>Completion of all documentation as described in Employee Manuals</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current American Red Cross, Ellis, YMCA or equivalent Lifeguard Training certification is required.</li>\n <li>First Aid, AED, and CPR-PR certifications are required.</li>\n <li>Previous lifeguard experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Water Safety Instructor or Lifeguard Instructor certifications preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Technical Competencies</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Basic computer competency</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Professional Competencies</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to perform all Lifeguard skills as required by American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Program.</li>\n <li>Successful completion of skills tests in swimming, rescue, and other areas as determined by the facility.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Human Relations</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Interaction with patrons, faculty, staff.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Work Environment and Physical Demands</h2>\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Pool</li>\n <li>Moderate to loud noise</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Physical conditioning</li>\n</ul>",
