    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Titan America is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Troutville, VA cement plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of electrical and automated systems to ensure continuous plant operations.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of plant equipment.</li>\n <li>Experience in reading/reviewing electrical schematics, loop sheets, P&IDs (process and instrumentation diagrams), and equipment manuals.</li>\n <li>Diagnose and resolve issues within various process control and automation systems.</li>\n <li>Experience in use of calibration meters, process meters, digital multi-meters, and megohmmeters, etc.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of electrical safety practices and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and NFPA-70E standards.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities. (workorders, PMs, process changes, tracking action items from shift reports, etc.)</li>\n <li>Collaborate with other maintenance and operations personnel to ensure plant reliability.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Minimum 2-year technical degree with 3 years of industrial electrical experience.   (5+ years with no degree will be considered.)….or</li>\n   <ul>\n    <li>Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician with relevant industrial experience (willing to accept licensed Journeyman in place of 2-year degree but must have industrial electrical maintenance experience).</li>\n    <li>Any related Military Technical Training will be taken into consideration.</li>\n    <li>Certificate of Apprenticeship (if applicable to Journeyman-level experience).</li>\n   </ul>\n   <li>Experience in industrial electrical maintenance is a must, preferably in a heavy manufacturing environment.</li>\n   <li>Knowledge of industrial safety procedures and best practices (e.g., LOTO, NFPA-70E).</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.</li>\n <li>Prior experience in a cement plant or similar heavy industry is a plus.</li>\n <li>PLC troubleshooting experience</li>\n <li>Experience with Low and medium voltage components including MCC’s, Switchgears, and distribution centers</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>\n<p>This role operates in a cement manufacturing environment, which involves exposure to noise, dust, heat, cold, and industrial machinery.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What We Offer: </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Safety First – The safety of our employees and the communities in which we operate is our top priority.
