If you’re a<span> </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">skilled Water Hygiene Engineer</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span> </span>who takes pride in doing things right the first time, we want you on our team.</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><br></span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><br></span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">What will I be doing?</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">You’ll be out on the road, visiting a variety of client sites — from hospitals and schools to commercial and industrial settings — making sure their water systems are compliant, clean, and safe.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Your day-to-day will include:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), sampling, flushing, disinfecting, and chemical treatment of water systems</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Performing remedial works, tank cleans, and chlorination</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ensuring compliance with ACOP L8, HSG274, and other water hygiene regulations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Recording and reporting site activities accurately using company systems</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Spotting and reporting system issues before they become bigger problems</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Representing SMS Environmental professionally with clients on-site</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Supporting and mentoring newer engineers as part of a collaborative team</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">What do I need to be successful?</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">We’re looking for someone who:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Has proven experience in water hygiene, treatment, or Legionella control</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Understands water hygiene legislation and best practice</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Communicates clearly and confidently with clients and colleagues</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Works well independently and manages time effectively</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Holds a City &amp; Guilds qualification (or equivalent) in Water Hygiene</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Has a full UK driving licence</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to pass Disclosure and Barring Service clearance (Enhanced DBS check)</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Bonus points if you’ve got a knack for problem-solving and love a job that keeps you moving and learning.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">What’s in it for me?</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">We take care of our people — because you take care of our clients.
