Position Summary Performs moderately complex to complex (journey-level) general ledger accounting work in direct support of the Shared Services Financial Analysis program. Work involves preparing financial statements, records, documents, and reports. Includes posting and auditing of the general ledger. The position requires a strong emphasis on interpersonal skills and problem resolution. Works under general supervision with limited – moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. · Maintains and balances financial statements, reports, schedules, and exhibits. · Classifies, codes, posts, and balances financial and accounting documents and records received via Automated Clearing House transfers, Interagency Transaction Vouchers, and Lockbox .
