          "text": "<p>UL Solutions, will be installing a solar monitoring system (SMS) near&#xa0;<strong>Crockett, Houston County, TX&#xa0;</strong>on behalf of one of our Clients. The station is (roughly 25x25 footprint) consists of a few solar panels, (2) 7-foot tripods, and scientific measurement equipment surrounded by a locked chain link fence. The station will be monitoring the solar resource as well as other meteorological and weather-related parameters.</p><p><u>The station requires weekly maintenance, on the same day each week during daylight hours to ensure consistent and accurate data is being collected for a minimum of 1 year and maximum of 2 years</u>.&#xa0; Your duties will include the following:</p><ol><li>Uphold highest level of&#xa0;communication as first point of contact for equipment in field;</li><li>Ensure all equipment is level &amp; clean on a weekly basis;</li><li>Provide troubleshooting&#xa0;(w/support from UL Solutions) and when requested, repair(s) for low-medium complexity issues;</li><li>Ensure there is no debris obstructing the system (depending on site/region, grass cutting, snow removal, or clearing brush); and</li><li>Confirm the system is secure and hasn’t been tampered with.</li></ol><p>Each maintenance visit should take 60-90 minutes.&#xa0; UL Solutions requires a weekly excel logbook uploaded via internet along with photos and other documentation to support the visit which should take 45-90 minutes.&#xa0; The entire process is estimated to require between 2-4 hours each week, including travel time to and from site.</p><p>Occasionally, UL Solutions may request your assistance in replacing or troubleshooting equipment.&#xa0; A Senior Engineer would contact you to walk you through the process. They will support you while onsite and review data after the equipment repair. &#xa0;</p>",

          "text": "<p>No solar experience is required, but is preferred. Training will be provided remotely via phone and video, potential onsite training when possible.</p><p>Must be able to take instruction remotely throughout length of contract term. &#xa0;</p><p>Must use own transportation to and from remote SMS location (4WD/AWD preferred.)</p><p>Willing/able to walk to and from site, typically no more than ¼ mile in one direction.</p><p>Required to climb and work comfortably from a 6 or 8-foot ladder (<strong>provided</strong>).</p><p>Required maintenance of equipment utilizing levels, screwdriver, and other hand tools (<strong>provided</strong>).</p><p>Must have demonstrated computer literacy, including ability to upload attachments with their own version of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) to our SharePoint website with reliable internet.</p><p>A smart phone is required to take site photos as well as to communicate with UL Solutions' staff while on site in an event of an emergency, etc. A desktop computer, laptop or tablet with internet capability is required for uploading maintenance photos and updating excel maintenance logbook.</p><p>Required to treat all applicable information as&#xa0;<u>confidential</u>.</p>",
