The Team Leader manages daily operations, project execution, and staff development while supporting group-wide goals related to quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The ideal candidate is an experienced roadway design professional with strong communication and organizational skills who thrives in leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring technical staff.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and manage a project team responsible for roadway design and production. </li>\n <li>Oversee project execution, schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure quality and efficiency. </li>\n <li>Serve as a day-to-day resource for technical guidance, mentorship, and problem-solving. </li>\n <li>Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to allocate resources effectively. </li>\n <li>Conduct regular staff meetings, workload planning, and project progress reviews. </li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with DOT, AASHTO, and company standards on all deliverables. </li>\n <li>Review and approve project plans, specifications, and reports for accuracy and completeness. </li>\n <li>Participate in performance reviews and support staff professional development plans. </li>\n <li>Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation. </li>\n <li>Assist Group Leaders with business development and proposal efforts as needed. </li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering</li>\n <li>Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required</li>\n <li>10+ years of progressive experience in roadway design and project management</li>\n <li>Proven ability to lead and develop project teams</li>\n <li>Working on/leading FDOT projects</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
