Overview Commercial Business Manager Roto-Rooter, America’s premier plumbing and drain cleaning company, is the name that homeowners and businesses turn to for select quality services. Roto-Rooter has an opportunity available for a Commercial Business Manager at our Westchester branch located in Mamaroneck, NY . The primary responsibilities of the Commercial Business Manager are to grow commercial sales in their respective Branch by developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing commercial customers. The Commercial Business Manager generates sales by promoting all our lines of business to prospective and existing commercial customers, including through the direct supervision of the commercial jetting and sales team. The salary range for this position is $95,000-$100,000, depending on experience. There is also opportunity for a branch performance based bonus. Responsibilities Your responsibilities will also include but not limited to: Develop additional business opportunities by selling Roto-Rooter’s preventative maintenance and priority care programs. Spend majority of their time in the field visiting existing and prospective commercial customers and establishing relationships Assist National Sales Team to with processing work orders and to ensure paperwork is completed in accordance with approved standardized procedures for work being performed or quoted by jet technicians and commercial field supervisors Conduct job completion follow-up with customers ensuring satisfactory completion of work performed by jet technicians and commercial field supervisors Manage productivity of commercial jet techs and commercial Field Supervisors to ensure attainment of performance goals. Join local trade associations and participate in tradeshows and events when applicable. Provides coaching and counseling to jet technicians and commercial field supervisors who are not meeting published production goals. Establishes performance improvement goals. Oversees scheduling of jet techs and commercial field supervisor to ensure there is adequate manpower coverage to complete all required work. Develop relationships with customers to build customer loyalty. Requirements Highschool diploma or equivalent At least 5 years of sales and management experience. Commercial Sales experience with proven year-over-year record of successful development and growth of a territory. Must posess sound problem-solving skills and good communication skills.
