    "description_html": "<p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Electric Machinery Company. a division of WEG Electric Corp.</strong></p><p><strong>Minneapolis, Minnesota</strong></p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Position:</strong> <strong>Buyer</strong></p><p>Department: Purchasing</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Primary Objective of Position:</strong></u></p><p>Responsible for purchasing material in our dynamic engineer to order and made to order manufacturing facility with a Customer Driven focus that provides On Time Predictability thru Continuous Improvement.</p><align-left><br></align-left><p><u><strong>Major Areas of Accountability:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Daily Material Requirement Planning review with executing orders for production materials, MRO items and services.&nbsp;</li><li>Works collaboratively with planning and suppliers to resolve delivery issues and develop recovery plans for to support on time delivery to customer.</li><li>Interface with other department representatives to determine specific needs, such as technical requirements, or &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;manufacturing requirements.</li><li>Processes Engineering Change Order releases for updates to manufacturing and vendors.</li><li>Follows up on deliveries, obtains proof of delivery if required and resolves invoicing related issues.</li><li>Responsible to manage inventory for assigned materials to the appropriate level for order quantity, safety stock, excess and obsolete inventories</li><li>Attends production meetings.</li><li>Provides regular updates on assigned metrics.</li><li>Completes other tasks and projects as assigned by the Purchasing Manager</li><li>Ensures tasks are performed according to organizational requirements for quality management and environmental, health and safety standards, policies and procedures.</li><li>Maintains data and prepares reports using SAP and Microsoft office software.</li></ul><p><u><strong>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Minimum 2+ years Planning, Purchasing, Inventory, Manufacturing, or Engineering experience. Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field a plus.&nbsp;</li><li>SAP Materials and Planning experience a plus.</li><li>Demonstrates Inventory Management Skills for order quantity, safety stock quality, stocking determination, identifying excess and obsolete inventories.</li><li>Excellent communication, computer, and analytical skills required.</li><li>Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and the ability to respond to changing priorities required.</li><li>Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.</li><li>Demonstrates excellent inter-personal, group participation, and group management skills.</li><li>Must &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;be a flexible, high-energy individual, able to handle multiple tasks and frequently changing priorities.</li><li>Experience in Microsoft Office Suite products with a focus on Excel preferred.</li></ul><p><u><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></u></p><ul><li>Approximately 80% sitting, 20% walking. Must be able to carry 20 pounds unassisted of production order packages around a &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;manufacturing facility.</li><li>Physical ability to travel freely within manufacturing and office facilities.
