This includes various <br>engineering services from proposal stage through to survey, assessment, design and construction <br>of projects. The successful applicant will have the opportunity for professional development <br>working with a motivated and dynamic team of experienced professionals. Fieldwork is an integral <br>part of this position, and applicants must be prepared for fi eld work including hiking in to remote <br>sites in all conditions and the potential for extended duration fi eld shifts and/or camp-based shifts. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location: </span><br>Position open to all primary onsite off ices including Courtenay, Campbell River, North Vancouver, <br>Abbotsford, Salmon Arm and Prince George <br> <br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Major Job Functions: </span><br>•  Assisting civil engineers and geotechnical engineers in all aspects of their projects <br>including: <br>o  Site investigations <br>o  Bridge Inspections <br>o  Site surveying (total station and RTK GPS) <br>o  Report preparation <br>o  Road and crossing design <br>o  Coordinating project drawings and reports <br>o  Assisting with fi eld reviews during construction  <br>o  Assisting with project management and/or contract administration <br> <br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Specific Skills and Knowledge: </span><br>•  Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships <br>across all levels of the business. <br>•  Strong technical analysis and technical writing capabilities <br>•  Physically fi t and comfortable with outdoor work and occasional travel <br>•  Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to work on numerous projects <br>•  Willingness to learn and work with limited supervision <br> <br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education and Experience: </span><br>•  Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Geological or Forest Engineering  <br>•  Eligible for registration with EGBC as an EIT or P.Eng. <br> <br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary Range: </span><br>•  1st Year EIT (E1-E2) 60-70k <br>•  2nd Year EIT (E2) 65-75k <br>•  3rd Year EIT (E2) 75-85k <br>•  4th Year EIT (E2-E3) 80-90k <br>•  Junior P.Eng.
