          "text": "<p>The Engine Director provides leadership and direction to a team of technical specialists and support staff.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Monitor and report on all success metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the fleet’s engines as well as for the budget;</li><li>Review, approve, and maintain the Engine Management Program (EMP) with suppliers such as Pratt &amp; Whitney and Rolls‑Royce;</li><li>Review, approve, and maintain the General Electric Workscope Planning Guide in order to maintain the CFM56‑5B engine maintenance program;</li><li>Contribute to the development of departmental procedures and procedures in compliance with the MCM &amp; MPM;</li><li>Responsible for all modifications and standards related to engine configurations;</li><li>Responsible for material revisions and technical specifications for engines during their shop visits;</li><li>Coordinate and follow up on all major technical projects and special requirements related to removal planning as well as the induction and return of engines to lessors;</li><li>Prepare and explain variances in the engine maintenance budget;</li><li>Chair engine meetings and ensure that all necessary actions are in place to maintain and improve engine reliability in accordance with the fleet’s engine maintenance programs;</li><li>With the support of the Procurement Department, negotiate and manage contracts related to engine repair and overhaul facilities as well as short-, medium-, and long-term engine leasing contracts;</li><li>Review all existing and upcoming engine-related contracts to ensure content complies with regulations and that risk coverage is adequate;</li><li>Fulfill all other responsibilities described for this position in the MPM.</li></ul>",
