We are looking for a skilled, dependable Fleet Mechanic who takes pride in quality work and understands the importance of keeping vehicles safe, reliable, and road-ready. </span><span>If you are someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and being part of a team that values safety, accountability, and professionalism, we want to hear from you.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><span>What You'll Do</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Inspect, maintain, and repair school buses, motor coaches, and support vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operation.</span></li>\n<li><span>Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and performance issues quickly and accurately.</span></li>\n<li><span>Perform preventative maintenance including oil changes, filter cleanings and changes, fluid services, brake inspections, tire maintenance, and scheduled servicing.</span></li>\n<li><span>Complete repairs on diesel engines, air brake systems, suspension components, HVAC systems, and related equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span>Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and parts usage documentation.</span></li>\n<li><span>Coordinate with operations personnel to ensure vehicles are available and road-ready.</span></li>\n<li><span>Conduct vehicle inspections and identify potential issues before they become major repairs.</span></li>\n<li><span>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.</span></li>\n<li><span>Participate in an on-call rotation to assist with breakdowns and emergency maintenance needs when required.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><span>What We're Looking For</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Experience working with diesel engines, buses, commercial vehicles, trucks, or heavy equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span>Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to work independently and take ownership of repairs from diagnosis to completion.</span></li>\n<li><span>Familiarity with diagnostic software, electronic troubleshooting tools, and modern vehicle systems.</span></li>\n<li><span>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.</span></li>\n<li><span>Positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with drivers, dispatchers, and management.</span></li>\n<li><span>Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to learn new systems and adapt as our company continues to grow.</span></li>\n<li><span>Available to be on call when necessary. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span>Preferred Qualifications</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>CDL Class B or higher with air brake, and passenger endorsements.</span></li>\n<li><span>Previous bus, motor coach, school bus, or commercial fleet experience.</span></li>\n<li><span>ASE certifications or equivalent experience.</span></li>\n<li><span>Experience with preventative maintenance programs.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><span>Why Join Mustang?</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Competitive pay based on experience.</span></li>\n<li><span>Full-time, year-round employment.</span></li>\n<li>Advancement Opportunities</li>\n<li><span>Supportive, team-oriented culture.</span></li>\n<li><span>Meaningful work helping transport employees safely and reliably every day.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span>Mustang Transportation is an Equal Opportunity Employer and maintains a drug-free workplace.</span></p>",
