    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>You belong at Day &amp; Ross.&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Licensed Trailer Technician (310J)</p>\n<p>Full-Time</p>\n<p>Woodstock, ON</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Available Shift: Monday to Friday,&nbsp;6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>The Licensed Trailer Technician performs maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet of trailers.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>How You'll Help:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Complete maintenance and repairs based on work orders&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Diagnose and service brakes, suspension, axles, tires, lighting, wiring, hydraulics, and HVAC/refrigeration systems&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Repair trailer bodies and components (doors, frames, decals, etc.)&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Work independently in the yard&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Document work and communicate updates to supervisors/managers</li>\n <li>Carry out other duties as assigned to support overall fleet operations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Your Skills &amp; Experience:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid 310J Trailer Technician license required</li>\n <li>Experience in trailer/transport maintenance&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Physically capable of manual work and tight spaces&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Knowledge of safety standards and industry regulations&nbsp;</li>\n <li>CVIP and/or Class 1 license are considered assets</li>\n <li>Previous experience working within an industrial environment, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience in the transportation industry.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience in conducting safety inspections</li>\n <li>Physically fit and able to lift, move, reach, bend, walk, stand, grasp, balance, climb, kneel and crouch for extended period of time</li>\n <li>Ability to work in tight spaces</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills – verbal and written</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>What We Offer:&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive pay&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Tool &amp; boot allowance&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Benefits + pension plan</li>\n <li>Growth opportunities&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Supportive work environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>To apply, visit our Careers page at&nbsp;<strong>dayross.com</strong>.<br><br>\n If you’re chosen for the role, you’ll be asked to provide reference and criminal background checks before employment.
