    "description": "<p>Title: Field Mechanic<br>Location: Seymour, TX</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Electrical utility construction company seeking experienced Field Mechanic for repair of various utility equipment and trucks. This position will be responsible for a large variety of repairs to support various job sites.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Requirements:</span><br>-Minimum 5 years heavy mechanic experience in related field;<br>-Ability to diagnose and repair:<br>-Hydraulic systems;<br>-Diesel and gas systems;<br>-Electrical systems;<br>-Brake systems; and<br>-All related components to aerial equipment and boom trucks;<br>-Must have basic fabrication skills;<br>-Must be willing to travel;<br>-Ability to observe and maintain excellent safety standards;<br>-Must have tools;<br>-Must be willing to work OT and some weekends; and<br>-CDL a plus.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Ideal candidate will be self motivated to learn about our company and equipment, take ownership in their position, and be able to think outside the box.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements:</span><br>-Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and carry the same for short distances and up and down stairs and steep inclines.<br>-Ability to sit in awkward positions for long periods, standing on a variety of surfaces and at differing angles, bending over, crouching and climbing up and over various equipment.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Hourly wage plus OT and excellent benefits package including employer paid medical, dental, vision, 401(k), personal time off and holiday pay.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Wilson Construction Co. is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Smoke &amp; drug free environment.
