    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>CommIT Enterprises, Inc.</strong> is seeking a <strong>Network Administrator IV- ENM Tier 3 </strong>to join the team in <strong>Quantico, VA</strong>. In this role, the Network Administrator IV (Senior Network Administrator) serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all core network systems, serving as Tier III echelon support for network IA devices to all units within a global enterprise network and provides escalated technical support to Tier II technicians. In conjunction with other integrated teams, Tier III also provides planning for enterprise IA boundaries for the installation and configuration of all IA network devices located throughout the enterprise, acting as a two-way conduit by consulting with and providing technical guidance to other client sections regarding the testing, planning, and implementation of new network IA devices, as well as facilitating the transition of new capabilities to operations when appropriate. Tier III SME's also assist with the review of external or development of internal policies and plans related to enterprise operations in order to ensure standardization and compliance with Network Operations requirements throughout the organization.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The candidate will be expected to attend weekly Tier III section meetings with client staff to provide verbal and written updates related to Tier III tasks; problems they have encountered in the past week; and plans for the coming week task completion. The Contractor shall document these Tier III issues and plans in a Tier III Weekly Status Report.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Established in 2001, CommIT is a Certified Veteran-Owned Small Business (CVOSB) providing innovative technical engineering and data science services. Our enterprise systems support includes the Department of Defense’s (DoD) GCSS-MC, CAC2S, TBMCS-MC, and the Department of Veteran’s Affairs’ (VA) telehealth communications. We offer acquisition management, systems engineering, Agile software development, cloud management, IT modernization, data analytics, cybersecurity, and training, including leading-edge DevSecOps, automated testing, and mobile application development.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to-</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate and maintain the network management and information architecture.</li>\n <li>Maintain systems on-site in accordance with the original equipment manufacturers (OEM) recommended engineering and maintenance practices.</li>\n <li>Perform preventive maintenance, during non-core hours on the system including scheduled preventive maintenance such as periodic tests, inspections, and all other preventive maintenance services/practices recommended by the OEM and as specified in MCCOG SOPs.</li>\n <li>Perform maintenance after notification that equipment is inoperative and or malfunctioning.</li>\n <li>Provide service personnel trained and certified by the respective OEMs sufficient to ensure system performance and compliance with the maintenance requirements outlined herein.</li>\n <li>Hardware/Software supported:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Firewall – Palo Alto</li>\n   <li>Proxy – Symantec ISG, SSG, Menlo</li>\n   <li>Router - Cisco,</li>\n   <li>WAN Optimization - Riverbed Steelhead</li>\n   <li>Switch - Cisco</li>\n   <li>DNS – Infoblox, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, RHEL Syslog</li>\n   <li>WAN Optimization – Riverbed Steelhead, F5 Load Balancers</li>\n   <li>LAYER 3 VPN (L3VPN), BGP, EIGRP, OSPF</li>\n   <li>Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD WAN)</li>\n   <li>Network Management/Monitoring Tools – SolarWinds, VSphere, Wireshark, Web Developer Tools, Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Packet Captures</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Required Experience and Education:</u></strong><u></u></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Professional series Certification (e.g. RHCE, CCIE, JNCIE, CCNP, Fortinet NSE 5)</li>\n <li>IAT III, IAM III, IASAE II  (CISA, GCIH, GCED, CASP, GSLC, CISM CISSP(or Associate)).  </li>\n <li>CND-IS Compliance (CEH or SSCP)</li>\n <li>7 Years related experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>H/W: ACME Packet; Cisco ASA; FortiNet FortiGate; McAfee Sidewinder; Juniper NetScreen, ISG, SSG</li>\n <li>S/W: FortiOS, CISCO IOS, NXOS; SecureOS; ScreenOS, JUNOS</li>\n <li>Good communication and interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Ability to follow policies and procedures</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate in a clear speaking voice as well as the ability to respond clearly to questions</li>\n <li>Aptitude to address negative situations, and resolve them in a positive manner</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Schedule:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Monday-Friday, 8hrs per day with possible after hours and weekend support of operational mission requirements and system updates</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Security Requirements:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Active DoD – Minimum Secret  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Equal Opportunity Employer:</u></strong></p>\n<p>CommIT Enterprises, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
