This Master-Level Heavy Equipment Field Technician will work both in the shop and/or in the field environment directly with customers, performing diagnostic inspections, high-quality and effective mechanical repairs of machine components, as well as maintaining excellent customer and employee relations. This position requires someone who can be a reliable and trustworthy part of the team, demonstrating good care for working records, safety, and the ongoing maintenance of equipment, tools, and vehicles.</p><p><strong>Job Tasks</strong></p><ul><li>Maintenance on company-owned machines</li><li>Repairs and maintenance on customer machines</li><li>Inspect, diagnose and repair mechanical issues (ranging from scheduled maintenance to more complex)</li><li>Other tasks as needed</li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>4+ years of relevant work experience</li><li>Technical School Certificate and/or equivalent experience</li><li>Good driving record</li><li>Ability to take direction and receive feedback</li><li>Adheres to safety standards</li><li>Keeps a clean working environment</li><li>Desire to grow and to learn</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Strong working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions</li><li>Computer diagnostics is a plus</li><li>Ability to work productively and efficiently with minimal supervision</li><li>Ability to communicate well with others</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p><ul><li>Occasional overtime may be required</li><li>Occasional exposure to variable outdoor weather conditions and working environments</li><li>Often moves and positions self around a variety of large machinery for observations, inspections and performing repairs, reaching both high and low areas of large machinery via ascending/descending stairs and/or ladders</li></ul><p><strong>Application and EEO/AA Information</strong></p><p>Applicants must apply online.
