Build a Legacy.</span><br><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Smoky Mountain Children’s Home</span> is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Home Study Writer</span> for a subcontracted service (Independent Subcontractor, 1099). </span><span>The primary role is to complete comprehensive home studies for prospective foster parents. This position offers a flexible work schedule established based on the needs of the families in coordination with your availability.</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Assessment &amp; Visits:</span> Arrange and coordinate two to three home visits with prospective foster parents as a core part of the assessment process</span><span>.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Documentation: </span>Obtain, organize, and ensure the absolute completeness of all required documentation for each home study. <br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Timely Submission: </span>Ensure all completed home studies are submitted within 60-days from the date the study is assigned. </li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Collaboration:</span> Maintain prompt communication with the Foster Home Compliance Coordinator to resolve any issues or concerns that arise during the process. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education: </span>Must possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university. </li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Certification:</span> Must be certified to write home studies in the state of Tennessee. </li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills:</span> Strong organizational and communication skills, with proven ability to work independently. </li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Environment:</span> This role involves approximately 85% indoor work, with physical requirements including sitting (75%), standing (10%), and walking (15%). </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Pay Structure</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>$500 per completed home study + mileage reimbursement at $.72 per mile. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About Smoky Mountain Children’s Home</span></span></p>\n<p><span>For over a century, we have provided a continuum of care through residential, foster, and adoption programs.
