Versar requires highly skilled, full-time, professional Electronic Security System Installation (ESS) Technicians for the accomplishment of complex electronic security system preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.&nbsp;</p><p>This position requires technical support for and installation of electronic security systems thereby protecting sensitive work-related activities, information, documentation, equipment, visitors, and Agency personnel in controlled areas such as federal courthouses and office spaces (probation offices, public defender spaces, etc.)</p><p><strong>What&nbsp;You&rsquo;ll Do:</strong></p><p>The ideal candidate will provide Installation, preventative maintenance and corrective action support of security field and headend equipment for new and existing Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and Closed-Circuit Video (CCV) systems in addition to the integration of these systems to monitor the physical plant, people, and contents efficiently and effectively.&nbsp;</p><p>Candidate must have technical experience and familiarity with specific ESS platforms to support the following systems to include but not limited to: Hirsch/Identiv, C*CURE 9000, Lenel, Bosch Video Management System.</p><p>This position is based in Washington, DC and requires daily commute to the site. A company vehicle may be issued for this commute.</p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Perform work on Access Controls, including card readers, electronic or wireless locks, and card, biometric, and fingerprint devices, among others</li><li>Perform work on Intrusion Systems and Prevention Systems, to include perimeter controls</li><li>Perform work on Video Management Systems, to include Bosch, Milestone, Axis</li><li>Terminates and dismantles devices and reconstructs equipment as required</li><li>Erects safety signage in appropriate areas</li><li>Use ladders to safely access ceiling crawl spaces and attics, pulling wires, hooking up routes, etc.</li><li>Cleans up installation debris and maintains an orderly workspace</li><li>Analyzes blueprints and building plans to confirm proper placement of wiring, conduit, and intended overall connection plan on a room-by-room and floor-by-floor basis</li><li>Performs system testing and signal verification</li><li>Assist with teammate troubleshooting needs virtually or by phone, as needed</li><li>Assess tools, inventory, and material needs for replacement and order, as needed</li><li>Meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment with minimum direction</li><li>Maintain a high level of professionalism, in appearance and communication with the public and federal/local community members</li><li>Maintain, enter, and process expenses in Company system by established deadlines</li><li>Drives company vehicles</li><li>Perform other duties as required</li></ul><p><strong>What&nbsp;You&rsquo;ll Bring:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>18+ years of age</li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>3+ years of directly relevant experience in security systems installation</li><li>Experience with access control systems and intrusion detection systems</li><li>Working knowledge of ESS platform experience in Software House C*CURE 9000, Bosch Video Management System, and Bosch Intrusion System.</li><li>Certification in CCURE 9000</li><li>Ability to read blueprints and building plans</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs. regularly</li><li>Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods of time</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate with managers and coworkers in English</li><li>Possess and maintain an active valid Driver&#39;s License without restrictions.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\" style=\"box-sizing: border-box; --tw-shadow: 0 0 #0000; --tw-ring-inset: ; --tw-ring-offset-width: 0px; --tw-ring-offset-color: #fff; --tw-ring-color: rgba(59,130,246,.5); --tw-ring-offset-shadow: 0 0 #0000; --tw-ring-shadow: 0 0 #0000;\">Active Top-Secret Clearance</li><li>Must be proficient in English, both written and verbal, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.</li><li>Successful results of pre-employment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen.</li><li>Comply with company drug and alcohol policy.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Must be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate&rsquo;s start date.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Certification in Hirsch / Identiv, Lenel, Bosch Video Management System, Honeywell Vindicator, or other ESS (Electronic Security Systems)</li><li>Experience with Video Management Systems (, Milestone, AXIS)</li><li>Ability to program devices</li><li>Experience working on federal, military, or government contracts</li><li>OSHA 10 or OSHA 30</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Expected Hourly Rate: $35 - $55</p><p>Versar Global Solutions is providing the compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that the Company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position based on the successful applicant&rsquo;s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location.
