Daily responsibilities include conducting UAV missions, monitoring and maintaining drone performance, and adhering to operational guidelines. This role would suit someone with either commercial or military experience with an operating weight over 25kg. The role also involves collaborating with other teams and our in-country partner to ensure mission success and providing feedback for process improvements.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span> - <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">UAV / UAS / Drone Pilot</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>You as a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">UAV / UAS / Drone Pilot</span> will be responsible for the piloting and operation of rotary vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Daily responsibilities include conducting UAV missions, monitoring and maintaining drone performance, and adhering to operational guidelines. This role would suit someone with past military experience The role also involves collaborating with other teams and our in-country partner to ensure mission success and providing feedback for process improvements.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You’ll be working as part of a 2-person flight team and as part of a wider UAV and operations team, delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality UAV services.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct pre-flight checks, risk assessments, and equipment inspections to ensure operational readiness Operate UAVs to capture high-quality imagery, video, and data for reporting purposes</li>\n<li>When required, operate as a visual observer, remote pilot assistant, or safety officer</li>\n<li>Maintain flight logs, technical records, and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements</li>\n<li>Collect and manage aerial data, ensuring accuracy and quality for client deliverables</li>\n<li>Training and onboarding support may also be part of your responsibilities within the role</li>\n<li>Confidence operating within regulated and sometimes extreme environments</li>\n<li>Positive and open to new types of work and responsibility</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements </span>- <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">UAV / UAS / Drone Pilot</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Piloted UAV / UAS / Drone's over 25kg </li>\n<li>Experience with Drone Piloting, UAV technology, and operation of VTOL drones – (multirotor &amp; fixed-wing would be highly beneficial)</li>\n<li>Proficiency in Piloting and UAV operational best practices</li>\n<li>Flight planning, execution and safety in the field</li>\n<li>Ability to provide Training and mentorship for safe and effective drone use</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of data collection and analysis from drone operations</li>\n<li>Familiarity with safety protocols and regulatory frameworks for UAV operations</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills</li>\n<li>Relevant certifications, such as a CAA Remote Pilot Certificate or equivalent (preferred)</li>\n<li>Technical knowledge of drone maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus</li>\n<li>Flexibility to work in dynamic environments and adapt to diverse mission requirements</li>\n<li>CAA / EASA License would prove highly beneficial</li>\n<li>A1 / A2 / A3 certifications would prove highly beneficial</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits</span> - <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">UAV / UAS / Drone Pilot</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Highly competitive salary, fantastic accommodation and flights IAW company policy</li>\n<li>Private Healthcare &amp; additional benefits package</li>\n<li>Development opportunities</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SRT Marine Systems plc</span> are an equal opportunity employer.
