If you have a passion for cardiovascular medicine and a commitment to patient care, we invite you to apply and become an essential part of our heart health team.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"> </p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"> </p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prepare the catheterization laboratory and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in working order.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with the sterilization and set-up of sterile fields.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Scrub in to assist physicians during procedures by passing instruments, manipulating catheters, and helping with device implantation.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain aseptic technique to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monitor and maintain the inventory of cath lab supplies, restocking as necessary.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment under the direction of the physician.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure proper disposal of sharps and other hazardous materials following procedures.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Record and document procedural details, patient responses, and the outcome of the procedure in the patient&rsquo;s medical record.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with the cath lab team to implement protocols and quality control measures.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide patient care before, during, and after procedures, including positioning the patient and monitoring vital signs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in emergency response situations by providing critical assistance as needed.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist in the training and mentoring of new staff and students within the cath lab environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Engage in continuous education to stay current with evolving techniques, equipment, and best practices in the field of cardiac care.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members </li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"> </p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Job Requirements</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"> </p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High school diploma or equivalent required</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist Program or Surgical Technologist Program Preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Minimum of one year of experience in a catheterization lab or operating room preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficient in scrubbing diagnostic and interventional cardiac, peripheral vascular, and electrophysiology procedures</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Familiarity with cath lab equipment, instruments, and radiation safety</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Physical stamina and manual dexterity to handle equipment and assist patients</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Commitment to continuing education and staying current with advancements in the field</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"> </p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This position is a clinical position and will report to the Ambulatory Surgery Center, 4-10 hours shifts, Monday- Friday hours variable</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong> </strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This position requires full range of body motion.
