Our enthusiastic clinical teams provide whatever is needed to help children and youth remain safely in their own home with their family, restoring hope with promise, providing intense mental health services and supports, and helping to strengthen the family unity. With sites located in Western Washington including Vancouver/Portland Metro area, we offer comprehensive intensive, Wrap-around mental health services to a diverse population for youth and families. We do not compromise our values.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> <strong>Peer Counselors (Youth Partners) </strong>are individuals with personal history as a youth/child who has been a recipient of behavioral health, child welfare, complex medical coordination or juvenile justice services who use that personal experience in building support with families. Successful applicants must have first person experience as a youth who received system services and prepared to disclose their personal experiences with youth, parents and others. </p>\n<p> <strong>JOB SUMMARY: </strong></p>\n<p>Youth Partners collaborate, provide support and help facilitate services for youth and their families receiving Family Behavioral Health Services. Working as a member of a team, the Youth Partner helps a youth voice their own perspective and assure that other team members are able to understand their perspective and use that perspective in treatment planning. This position helps youth, parents and families achieve confidence in their abilities to team on a recovery journey and maintain hope for their success after formal behavioral health services have been completed.</p>\n<p>Emphasis is on achieving incredible outcomes with children, youth and families by actively partnering with them along with their natural and community services and supports to achieve long term safety and stability in our neighborhoods and communities. </p>\n<p>This position will be based out of FBH Vancouver, Oak View site. It may include time working from home, in the office and with scheduling flexibility to provide services to youth and families in the community and in their homes, as needed.</p>\n<p><em>A full job description with qualifications may be shared with candidates identified for an interview. </em></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>WHAT WE ARE SEEKING IN A CANDIDATE:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Age 21 or older.</li>\n <li><strong>Personal (lived) experience as a child/youth</strong> <strong>who has received community / mental health services within the past ten years.</strong></li>\n <li>Must have an acceptable driving record per CCS’ driving policy (required to provide current driving abstract).</li>\n <li>Must be able to driver to youth and family homes and in the community, have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, automobile insurance and provide current auto registration.</li>\n <li>Applicant must successfully pass required background clearances prior to an offer of employment.</li>\n <li><em>Availability to flex some work hours, as needed.</em></li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates the necessary attitudes, knowledge and skills to deliver culturally competent services and work effectively in multi-cultural situations.</li>\n <li>Support and uphold the mission, beliefs and values of Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>ABOUT VANCOUVER</strong>Vancouver, nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the Cascade Mountains, on the north bank of the Columbia River with sweeping views of Mt.
