In this role the Analyst will contribute to a growing municipal business that invests in both high yield and investment grade securities. She or he will be responsible for performing in-depth fundamental research to develop forward looking sector and issuer-specific credit views and recommendations. The Analyst will work closely with the Municipal Bond portfolio management, trading, credit research, and economics research teams, as well as other investment analysts, portfolio managers, and traders across the firm.</span></p><p></p><p>Credit Research Job Description:</p><p><span>We are seeking an Analyst to join our <b>Municipal Research Team</b>.</span></p><p></p><p>Describe the role:</p><p>AllianceBernstein is seeking an Analyst to focus on High Yield municipal research which is primarily project finance deals (including, but not limited to, senior living, charter schools, affordable housing, land deals, private higher education and hospitals). The analyst will conduct primary credit research in a collaborative manner with a senior analyst on the team.</p><p>                         </p><p>The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>All aspects of research and diligence of entities, including financial, industry, ESG, and covenant analysis</li><li>Develop an independent view of an issuer and its ratings</li><li>Provide analysis across performing and distressed credits within given sectors</li></ul><p></p><p>What is the professional development value of this role, i.e. what learning and professional growth does the role offer the candidate?</p><ul><li>Develop high yield credit fundamental skills in various sectors</li><li>Make trade recommendations based on new and secondary market pricing</li></ul><p></p><p>Job Qualifications</p><ul><li>Strong analytical and quantitative skills, demonstrated through academic and professional record</li><li>Ability to think broadly about the prospects of a business and how those could impact future value</li><li>Relentless drive with a passion for research</li><li>Strong work ethic and attention to detail</li><li>Excellent communications skills</li><li>Ability to work well both independently and on teams</li><li>Understanding of financial statement modeling</li></ul><p>Qualifications, Experience, Education:</p><ul><li>CA, MBA or part of the CFA program</li><li>Previous credit research experience (not necessary, but a plus)</li></ul><p></p>Pune, India",
