    "description": "<p>The Community Outreach &amp; Prevention Educator supports outreach, prevention, and education efforts to increase awareness of domestic and sexual violence and promote healthy relationships. This position focuses on community engagement, school-based prevention programming, and public awareness initiatives, while helping to strengthen partnerships and expand Response’s presence throughout the service area.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The following reflect core duties; other duties may be assigned as needed.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Prevention &amp; Education</span></p>\n<p>• Deliver prevention programming in schools focused on healthy relationships, boundaries, and consent.</p>\n<p>• Develop and facilitate educational workshops and presentations for students and community groups.</p>\n<p>• Adapt materials and approaches to meet the needs of different age groups and audiences.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Community Outreach &amp; Engagement</span></p>\n<p>• Build and maintain relationships with community partners, including schools, agencies, and local organizations.</p>\n<p>• Coordinate and participate in outreach events, trainings, and community initiatives throughout Response’s catchment area.</p>\n<p>• Represent Response at community events to increase awareness of services and prevention efforts.</p>\n<p>• Attend and represent Response at local resource meetings, community meetings, and NHCADSV-hosted meetings as assigned.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Communications &amp; Awareness </span></p>\n<p>• Maintain social media platforms, including planning, creating, and posting content.</p>\n<p>• Develop outreach materials such as flyers, graphics, and presentations using tools like Canva.</p>\n<p>• Support and implement awareness campaigns (e.g., SAAM, DVAM, Denim Day) and other public education initiatives.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Program Collaboration &amp; Support </span></p>\n<p>• Collaborate with the Education &amp; Prevention Coordinator to plan and implement prevention and outreach activities.</p>\n<p>• Contribute to the continued growth and expansion of Response’s outreach and prevention efforts. • Maintain organization of outreach materials, event supplies, and program resources.</p>\n<p>• Track and report outreach and prevention activities as required for program and grant needs.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum Qualifications</span></p>\n<p>• Associate degree in education, human services, communications, or a related field; or equivalent experience.</p>\n<p>• Completion of the 30-hour Response Training Program (required upon hire) to ensure understanding of confidentiality, privilege, and program standards</p>\n<p>• Maintain a minimum of 6 hours of annual training relevant to advocacy, prevention, and trauma-informed practice.</p>\n<p>• Strong communication and public speaking skills.</p>\n<p>•Experience or interest in community outreach, education, or prevention work.</p>\n<p>• Proficiency in technology and social media platforms; experience with Canva or similar tools preferred.</p>\n<p>• Understanding of domestic and sexual violence or willingness to learn.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Other Requirements</span></p>\n<p>• Valid NH driver’s license, reliable transportation, and adequate insurance coverage</p>\n<p>• Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout Response’s full catchment area for programming, meetings, and outreach.</p>\n<p>• Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends for events or programming.</p>\n<p>• Ability to maintain confidentiality and represent Response in a professional manner.</p>\n<p>• Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic, community-based work environment.</p>\n<p>• Provide support line coverage as needed based on program needs and staffing.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working Conditions &amp; Physical Demands</span></p>\n<p>• Office-based with frequent travel across Response’s service area for school programming, meetings, and outreach events.</p>\n<p>• Requires sitting for extended periods and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs)</p>\n<p>• Frequent public interaction and presentation delivery.</p>",
