We are passionate about what we do and deeply committed to excellence at every level of our organization.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>POSITION OVERVIEW</strong></p><p>We are seeking a <strong>hands-on Quality Team Lead</strong> to support daily quality operations on the production floor and serve as the go-to resource for a team of <strong>Quality Technicians and Inspectors</strong>. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role bridges the gap between <strong>frontline inspection activity</strong> and quality system ownership &mdash; ensuring our <strong>products meet specifications</strong>, issues are addressed quickly, and the team has the guidance it needs to perform at a high level. This position will report to the Quality Manager and will have a direct oversite of Quality Technicians and Inspectors.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p>Team Support &amp; Daily Operations</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 16px;\">Provide day-to-day direction and support to Quality Technicians and Inspectors on the production floor.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 16px;\">Assign and prioritize inspection tasks to ensure coverage across incoming, in-process, and final inspection checkpoints.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 16px;\">Serve as the first point of escalation for technicians when quality issues arise during production.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 16px;\">Model best practices in inspection technique, documentation, and professional conduct.</li></ul><p>Quality Systems &amp; Documentation</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 16px;\">Initiate, track, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), ensuring proper documentation and timely disposition.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 16px;\">Support the development and upkeep of inspection criteria, control plans, and standardized work instructions.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 16px;\">Assist in the implementation and verification of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).</li><li style=\"margin-left: 16px;\">Maintain accurate quality records and ensure documentation meets internal and customer requirements.</li></ul><p>Issue Resolution &amp; Continuous Improvement</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 16px;\">Investigate and facilitate resolution of customer complaints and warranty claims, escalating to the Quality Manager as needed.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 16px;\">Apply root cause analysis tools (5 Why, Fishbone) to identify and address recurring defects.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 16px;\">Track and report on daily/weekly quality metrics; surface trends and recommend corrective actions to the Quality Manager.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 16px;\">Participate in and support continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing defects and improving throughput.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 16px;\">Coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain on quality-related concerns affecting the production line.</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS &amp; SKILLS</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 16px;\">2+ years of experience in a quality or manufacturing environment; prior experience in a lead or senior technician role preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 16px;\">Familiarity with quality inspection methods, measurement tools, and NCR/CAPA processes.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 16px;\">Basic proficiency with root cause analysis tools such as 5 Why and Fishbone (Ishikawa) diagrams.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 16px;\">Strong attention to detail and a consistent commitment to accuracy in documentation and inspection.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 16px;\">Clear, professional communication skills &mdash; able to relay technical information to both team members and supervisors.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 16px;\">Dependable, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 16px;\">Experience with automotive or precision manufacturing is a plus, but not required.</li></ul><p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS &amp; WORK ENVIRONMENT</strong></p><p>This position operates in a combined manufacturing, shop, and office environment.
