    "description": "<p><span style=\"color: rgb(230, 126, 35)\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Project Delivery Engineer</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(230, 126, 35)\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(230, 126, 35)\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Overview</span></span></p>\n<p>We are currently looking for a Project Delivery Engineer, with a strong electrical bias, to join our expanding team as we enter a new and exciting growth phase. </p>\n<p>The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of energy infrastructure, such as onsite generators and battery storage units, behind the meter at large commercial and industrial locations. </p>\n<p>We are looking for someone with experience in delivering energy, electrical or other comparable projects, with experience of doing so at industrial or commercial locations being advantageous.</p>\n<p>A highly motivated, self-driven individual who understands how to conduct effective procurement processes, is familiar with electrical design and has strong project management capabilities</p>\n<p>The successful candidate will work closely with the Commercial team, to support early-stage opportunity identification and appraisal, undertake site visits, produce high level technical proposals, engage and maintain relationships with sub-contractors and delivery partners while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while meeting safety and quality standards.  </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(230, 126, 35)\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who we are and w</span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">hat we do:</span></span></p>\n<p>VIOTAS is a market-leading smart grid technology and services company headquartered in Limerick with offices in Melbourne, Krakow and Texas. </p>\n<p>Through us, large electricity customers actively participate in the electricity market to generate revenue in return for providing valuable services that help support the reliability of the power grid.  <br>Together, our clients can provide more power to the grid than some of the country’s large power stations. </p>\n<p>These services are delivered via our own custom designed control and communication systems.  <br>Our state-of-the-art systems are designed to provide the fast frequency response services that are needed to facilitate increased integration of renewable energy on the power grid.  <br> <br>The company was named the fastest growing technology company in Ireland at the Deloitte Fast 50 Awards in 2019. We are expanding globally, with plans to implement energy system services in a greater number of other countries.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(230, 126, 35); font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>The Project Management of the end-to-end delivery of Behind the Meter asset development from inception through to handover.</span></li>\n<li><span>Support effective and efficient procurement exercises to ensure we achieve best possible outcomes in terms of value and quality.</span></li>\n<li><span>Support contract negotiations, including terms, scope, and commercial conditions.</span></li>\n<li>Supporting early-stage opportunity identification, undertaking site visits, conducting technical appraisals and producing technical solutions to the client’s satisfaction.</li>\n<li><span>Coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.</span></li>\n<li><span>Support the continuous improvement of internal processes and frameworks to mature VIOTAS’ project development and delivery capabilities.</span></li>\n<li><span>Manage and report on project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.</span></li>\n<li><span>Support the procurement strategy including supplier engagement and selection</span></li>\n<li><span>Conduct regular progress reviews, risk assessments, and mitigation planning.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations, standards, and policies.</span></li>\n<li><span>Oversee complete commissioning of assets, including any necessary dispatch testing and / or grid code compliance testing</span></li>\n<li><span>Liaise with clients, consultants, and third parties to maintain strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.</span></li>\n<li>Liaising with other functions within VIOTAS – leveraging deep cross-functional collaboration – as required to ensure projects are delivered to the client’s satisfaction.</li>\n<li>Ensure all project documentation is completed in accordance with contractual obligations.</li>\n<li><span>Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(230, 126, 35); font-weight: bold\">Essential Requirements:</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of four years previous relevant experience</li>\n<li>A strong electrical background with a deep understanding of electrical equipment / infrastructure / generation equipment</li>\n<li>Strong project management capabilities</li>\n<li>Exceptional attention to detail and a pragmatic approach. Ability to work on own initiative with a high level of personal motivation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(230, 126, 35);
