Our world-class team includes experts in all aspects of spacecraft subsystems design, development, and test, on-orbit operations, and safety.  &nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>About the Position</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">The Bus Manager Console Lead will be responsible for serving as the spacecraft bus expert and lead the real-time operations console for satellite missions. This console will be responsible for monitoring the health, safety, and performance of the spacecraft during mission operations. They will also play a critical leadership role in mission execution, anomaly response and resolution, and operational readiness. The ideal candidate brings deep spacecraft bus knowledge, experience in real-time mission operations, and the ability to lead and make decisions under potentially time-critical conditions.</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Become an expert on the LDN relay satellite(s)</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Lead the Bus Manager console during real-time satellite operations</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Monitor spacecraft bus telemetry, trends, and limits to ensure vehicle health and mission success</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Coordinate closely with payload, power, thermal, avionics, and ground systems groups</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Train and mentor other Bus Manager Console team members</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Assist in anomaly response and resolution</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Lead and maintain operations product development for satellite and the operations knowledge base for satellite systems at IM</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Participate in simulations and other training events</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Provide matrixed support across IM programs as needed</li></ul><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering and at a minimum 5-10 years of experience in spacecraft systems (satellites, human rated vehicles, etc.)</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Strong working knowledge of spacecraft bus subsystems (power, thermal, avionics, etc.)</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Ability to make technical decisions in potentially time-critical conditions</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Strong leadership and communication skills</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Excellent situational awareness and systems thinking</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Ability to mentor and lead other console operators</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Experience with documentation and collaboration tools such as Confluence, Jira, MS Office (MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel)</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">This role requires in-office presence in Houston, Texas</li></ul><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Knowledge of or exposure in one of the following technical disciplines is highly desired:</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Real-time shift operations of technical systems such as satellite operations or equivalent</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Familiarity with fault management systems, FDIR, and spacecraft autonomy</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Familiarity with automation/artificial intelligence</li></ul><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>EEO Statement&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Intuitive Machines is an Equal Opportunity employer.
