    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><strong>POSITION OVERVIEW</strong></p><p class=\"msonormal\">Maximize sales in retail store by assisting customers and\nsatisfying their request whenever possible.<span>&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Fill store-staffing requirements as needed.<span>&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Accepts payment for purchases, presort and\nprocess donated goods.</p><p class=\"msonormal\"><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nAND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p class=\"msonormal\">Performs all day to day operational functions of the store\n(i.e. run register, verify checks, stocking shelves/counter/tables, hang\ngarments, sale of merchandise, rotation of goods).</p><p class=\"msonormal\">Sets up advertising signs and displays or arranges\nmerchandise on counters, tables or shelves to attract customers and promote\nsales.</p><p class=\"msonormal\">Obtains merchandise requested by customer or receives\nmerchandise selected by customer.</p><p class=\"msonormal\">Answers customer&#39;s questions concerning location, price, and\nuse of merchandise.</p><p class=\"msonormal\">Provide customers and donors with excellent customer\nservice.</p><p class=\"msonormal\">Responsible for clerk/cashiering duties as assigned and\noperating the cash register, which includes sales transactions, payments,\nrefunds, and end of day register processing.</p><p class=\"msonormal\">Wraps or bags merchandise for customers.</p><p class=\"msonormal\">Accountable for proper register balances and for any\nunauthorized removal of any merchandise from the store.</p><p class=\"msonormal\">Maintain clean and orderly work area, as well as merchandise\non the floor.</p><p class=\"msonormal\">Stock, straighten and clean the sales floor which includes\ntextiles and hard lines.</p><p class=\"msonormal\">Stocks storage areas and displays with new or transferred\nmerchandise.</p><p class=\"msonormal\">Remove empty hangers and outdated merchandise according to\nrotation schedule.</p><p class=\"msonormal\">Remove clothes from dressing rooms and re-hang if necessary.</p><p class=\"msonormal\">Answer telephone and provide announcements over store paging\nsystem as needed.</p><p class=\"msonormal\">Transport items to and from sales floor.</p><p class=\"msonormal\">Continually support the agency safety program and contribute\nto customer and employee safety.</p><p class=\"msonormal\">Accomplishes retail and organization mission by completing\nrelated assignments as needed.</p><p class=\"msonormal\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS AND\nSPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED</strong></p><p class=\"msonormal\">High school diploma or equivalent.</p><p class=\"msonormal\">Possess good eyesight and color definition.</p><p class=\"msonormal\">Good interpersonal communication skills.</p><p class=\"msonormal\">Ability to quickly assess goods and determine appropriate\nrouting.</p><p class=\"msonormal\">Functional reading and writing skills.</p><p class=\"msonormal\">Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and\nweekends.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p></div>\n",
