Overview
NaphCare is hiring a Lead Psychology Associate to join our team of medical professionals in the Arizona Department of Corrections in Winslow, Arizona.
Pay rates range from $36.00 to $64.00 per hour based on shift, site needs, hire status, and experience.
Full Time and Part Time positions may be available!
As a Correctional Lead Psychology Associate , you will provide psychological treatment and support to the facility residents while working alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals. This is a unique position where you can make a difference to this diverse population of patients with complex mental health needs.
Responsibilities
The Lead Psychology Associate is responsible for providing high-level clinical support, conducting complex assessments (ADHD, neuropsychological), delivering evidence-based therapy, and assisting with treatment planning under supervision. Additional responsibilities may include and not be limited to:
Conduct diagnostic interviews, administer and interpret psychological testing, and provide individual or group counseling.
Lead clinical teams, provide guidance to junior staff, and assist with program development.
Collaborate with licensed psychologists to develop, implement, and document, measurable patient treatment plans.
Maintain confidential records, meet billable hour targets, and ensure compliance with ethical guidelines.
Coordinate care with external providers, schools, and community resources.
Qualifications
Experience / Requirements / Qualifications / Skills
Must hold a current, unrestricted Psychology license in the STATE
Be able to obtain BLS CPR Certification (AHA preferred)
Experience with underserved and marginalized populations, including those with mental health and substance use disorders
Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with diverse individuals, including other medical professionals, correctional staff and judges
Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
Able to work independently and in a team
Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information and integrity, professionalism and ability to adhere to a Code of Conduct and comply with all facility(s) correctional healthcare policies, procedures, and legal requirements
Must pass the facility’s criminal background check and drug screening
