The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fire alarm and sprinkler systems, as well as a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. This role is responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire alarm and sprinkler systems to ensure they meet all relevant codes and standards. The Fire Alarm &amp; Sprinkler Inspector will also be responsible for preparing inspection reports and communicating with clients regarding system performance and any recommended corrective actions.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\"> Conduct regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm and sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards, local codes, and client requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\"> Identify, document, and report system deficiencies and malfunctions, including recommendations for necessary repairs or upgrades.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\"> Ensure all systems are in compliance with state, federal, and local fire and life safety regulations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\"> Communicate effectively with clients to explain inspection results and advise on maintenance needs or required corrective actions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\"> Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports, including test results, corrective actions, and any code compliance issues.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\"> Collaborate with service technicians and other team members to address identified issues and ensure timely resolution.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\"> Stay current on industry trends, codes, and regulatory changes to ensure all inspections meet or exceed current requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\"> Assist in maintaining up-to-date knowledge of various fire alarm and sprinkler system manufacturers, models, and system functionality.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold\">KEY COMPETENCIES </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required, but are not necessarily all-inclusive.  </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\"> NICET Certification (Level I or higher) in Fire Alarm Systems, Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems, or equivalent certification is preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\"> Working knowledge of NFPA codes, including NFPA 25, NFPA 72, and local fire and building codes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\"> Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and document system deficiencies accurately.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\"> Excellent communication and customer service skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\"> Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\"> Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\"> Ability to travel to multiple client sites. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\"> High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\"> Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in fire alarm and sprinkler system inspection, maintenance, or related field.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\"> Ability to move around construction sites, including walking on uneven ground.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
