This role performs preventive and corrective maintenance, identifies root causes of failures, and supports continuous improvement initiatives.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Equipment Maintenance & Repair</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs on production equipment and facility systems.</li>\n <li>Diagnose malfunctions using testing equipment, technical manuals, and schematics.</li>\n <li>Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and meet production goals.</li>\n <li>Replace or repair defective components such as motors, sensors, bearings, valves, and belts.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preventive & Predictive Maintenance</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct scheduled PM tasks according to maintenance plans.</li>\n <li>Document all maintenance activities in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).</li>\n <li>Inspect equipment for wear, alignment, lubrication, and safety compliance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Safety & Compliance</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Follow all OSHA and company safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures.</li>\n <li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.</li>\n <li>Participate in safety audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Technical Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist in equipment installations, rebuilds, and upgrades.</li>\n <li>Support production teams with machine startups, adjustments, and training as needed.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with engineering on reliability improvements and machine modifications.</li>\n <li>Documentation & Communication</li>\n <li>Complete work orders accurately and on time.</li>\n <li>Communicate equipment status, issues, and progress updates to supervisors and team members.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate inventory of parts and tools.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Education: </strong>High school education or equivalent.  </li>\n <li><strong>Experienc<em>e</em></strong><em>: </em>2+ years of maintenance or industrial technical experience.</li>\n <li>Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and/or electrical systems.</li>\n <li>Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Preferred</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Technical certification or vocational training (electrical, mechanical, industrial maintenance).</li>\n <li>Experience with PLCs, drives, sensors, and automation systems.</li>\n <li>Welding, fabrication, or machining experience.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with CMMS software.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>COMPETENCIES:</strong></li>\n <li>Must be highly skilled in production equipment as well as familiar with the use of office equipment, such as a computer, calculator, telephone, copier and fax machine. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS:</strong></li>\n <li>Work is performed in a plant environment with frequent contact with others. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>EFFORT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</strong></li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as but not limited to; Company policy, procedure manuals, work instructions, and machine manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of maintenance and equipment. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Requires sitting, standing, frequent bending, stooping and stretching, ability to climb ladders; manual dexterity; the ability to distinguish letters; occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds. </li>\n</ul>",
