Are you studying or have a background in psychology, social work, behavioral science, or a related field? Join <strong>New Haven</strong>, a leading residential treatment center, and become a vital part of a mission-driven team dedicated to healing and transformation.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>New Haven serves adolescent girls (ages 14–18) and their families through trauma-informed, relationship-based care. With campuses in Spanish Fork and Saratoga Springs, we offer a warm, home-like setting that blends therapeutic support with accredited academics. Our focus areas include trauma recovery, family systems, emotional regulation, and mental health.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Work Schedule</strong>Youth Mentors are required to work a minimum of <strong>24 hours per week</strong>, including <strong>two Sundays per month</strong>, with the option to work up to <strong>30 hours</strong>.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>On-Call Youth Mentors</strong> enjoy added flexibility—choosing shifts that fit their availability while still meeting the 24-hour weekly minimum and Sunday requirement. Shifts are available <strong>any day</strong>, <strong>AM or PM</strong>, and on-call staff are <strong>not expected to be available 24/7</strong>.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Minor Food Prep:</strong> Contribute to meal preparation while promoting healthy eating habits.</li>\n <li><strong>Group Participation:</strong> Attend and engage in group sessions with students, fostering a sense of community.</li>\n <li><strong>Safety First:</strong> Maintain a safe environment, ensuring the well-being of our students.</li>\n <li><strong>Boundary Maintenance:</strong> Uphold professional boundaries while building trust and rapport.</li>\n <li><strong>Therapeutic Support:</strong> Collaborate with therapists to implement interventions aligned with each teen's treatment plan.</li>\n <li><p><strong>Building Lasting Relationships: </strong>Spending quality time with our teens allows you to cultivate strong and meaningful staff-student relationships. These connections are essential as they play a pivotal role in the progress and development of each student within our program.
