Work with caregiving team and family to provide appropriate and adequate staffing. Investigates all unfilled shifts and takes appropriate actions.</span><br></li>\n<li><br><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education:</span> </span><span>Backup trainer for offered courses.</span><br><br></li>\n<li><br><span>Foster a high-performing culture of excellence that drives employee engagement and provides exceptionally reliable, safe, high-quality patient care.</span></li>\n<li><span>Assist with administrative tasks, record keeping, and documentation. </span><br></li>\n<li><br><span>Perform other job-related duties as needed.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Caregiving Skills: </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Perform hands-on patient care at the place of assignment: In-home, Facility, or Adult Family Home.</span></li>\n<li><span>Provides quality care to patients/clients in an environment which promotes patient/ client rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and individuality.</span></li>\n<li><span>Provide individualized attention and encourage residents to maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.</span></li>\n<li><span>Understanding and ensuring that individualized care plans are followed. Report any change of condition or observation of patient need to nurse supervisor.</span></li>\n<li><span>Assist with ADLs: including assistance with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, colostomy care, prosthetic appliances, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communicating, or other needs in keeping with the individuals’ care requirements as directed.</span></li>\n<li><span>Promote skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers, skin tears, and other damage by changing incontinent residents, turning, repositioning immobile residents, and applying moisturizers to fragile skin.</span></li>\n<li><span>Treat each patient client's personal property with respect.</span></li>\n<li><span>Performs various delegated tasks assigned by the nurse including vital signs, residents’ weights, and applying creams/ointments.</span></li>\n<li><span>Physical able to lift 50 lbs, using proper body mechanics, or lifting devices for accident prevention.</span></li>\n<li><span>Understand and be able to follow safety and infection control procedures including thorough hand washing, use of disposable gloves where indicated, and proper disposal of soiled materials.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications/Educational Requirements:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>High school graduate or G.E.D certificate.</span></li>\n<li><span>CNA or HCA license to provide home care in Washington State.</span></li>\n<li><span>At least 1-year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Care Aide (in homes or facilities), or other applicable experience.</span></li>\n<li><span>Technology Savvy.</span></li>\n<li><span>Understanding of Microsoft Office: Word, outlook, Excel. </span></li>\n<li><span>EMR experience a plus.</span></li>\n<li><span>Be listed in good standing with the Washington DSHS Background Check System.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.</span></li>\n<li><span>Have transportation to and from job.</span></li>\n<li><span>Valid driver's license and car insurance.</span></li>\n<li><span>Population-specific experience a plus, (training may be provided) for conditions such as dementia, Parkinson's, hospice/end of life care.</span></li>\n<li><span>Active CPR and First Aid or BLS card</span></li>\n<li><span>RN delegation certificate a plus.
