          "text": "<p>The Worship Experience Pastor is responsible for the execution of the weekend experience at the congregation. They lead worship, oversee production and programming for the congregation; and develop volunteer teams. This position reports to the Lead Congregation Pastor. A full-time position, the schedule generally includes weekend services, meetings at our office in Irvine, and additional time during the week for a total of 40-50 hours depending on licensed minister status. This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).&#xa0; This position is eligible for ministerial licensing so long as the candidate meets the qualifications as set by Mariners.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Program</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with the Central team and the Congregation Lead Pastor to program and execute the adult weekend experience.</li><li>Oversee the execution of worship, programming, and production to provide an excellent, immersive weekend experience.</li><li>Ensure services are executed with little to no distractions to worship, hosting, or message.&#xa0;</li><li>Work in collaboration with the guest experience team to help provide a cohesive, intentional, and welcoming experience for all guests.</li></ul><p><strong>Worship</strong></p><ul><li>Serve as the primary worship leader at the congregation. This includes singing and playing an instrument (as necessary).</li><li>Oversee volunteer mobilization for the worship team at your congregation.&#xa0;</li><li>Successfully audition, onboard, and schedule volunteers.&#xa0;</li><li>Develop the musical proficiency of your team, and partner with the Central team training curriculum.</li><li>Disciple volunteers through rhythms of connection.&#xa0;</li><li>Manage and maintain musical instruments under your responsibility.</li></ul><p><strong>Production</strong></p><ul><li>Serve as the primary production lead at the congregation. This includes having a baseline knowledge of the AVL components under your responsibility.</li><li>Oversee volunteer mobilization for the production team at your congregation.&#xa0;</li><li>Successfully interview, onboard, and schedule volunteers.&#xa0;</li><li>Develop the technical proficiency of your team, and partner with the Central team training curriculum.</li><li>Disciple volunteers through rhythms of connection.&#xa0;</li><li>Manage and maintain production equipment under your responsibility.</li></ul><p>*Please note this role is for a future congregation that will not be located in Irvine, CA.</p>",
