Drive the efficient and profitable performance of the truss plant by applying effective management principles and in accordance to customer needs and organizational priorities.</p>\n<p><strong>REPORTING TO</strong>: Area Manager</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>KEY ACTIVITIES</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Visualize, fulfil, and implement the company vision and core values.</li>\n <li>Effectively manage the Company’s Sugar City, ID truss plant in alignment with organizational priorities and customer needs.</li>\n <li>Drive individual and team performance through the effective evaluation, training and management of truss production and support employees.</li>\n <li>Assist in the effective recruitment, onboarding, and development of new employees.</li>\n <li>Analyse individual and team performance to identify skill gaps and training needs.</li>\n <li>Provide quarterly performance feedback to individual employees and provide necessary training to promote growth and development.</li>\n <li>Track, collect, and submit all necessary data for the timely, error-free processing of payroll.</li>\n <li>Maintain site and warehouse inventory through regular, on-site product counts and calculation of post-project excess.</li>\n <li>Provide project updates and performance feedback data to relevant stake holders, including Area Managers, Sales Reps, customers, and key project personnel.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with Sales Reps to insure they are equipped with all necessary information and measurements to drive sales and to develop customer relationships.</li>\n <li>Establish and maintain positive relationships with key customers.</li>\n <li>Collect and track project quality data through multiple channels, including customer feedback, input from superintendents, direct observation, and other sources.</li>\n <li>Maintain equipment and tools through regular inspection and effective preventative maintenance program.</li>\n <li>Perform operational and financial audits in accordance with best practice standards.</li>\n <li>Maximize overall performance quality by effectively communicating job standards, customer needs, timelines to production employees, and double-checking all job assignments.</li>\n <li>Maintain clean, safe and effective site & warehouse working conditions.</li>\n <li>Schedule work crews according to project needs and available resources.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong ability to evaluate individual and team performance and to create accountability.</li>\n <li>Effective written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Solid mathematical skills conducive to measurement, payroll calculation, and basic data analysis.</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to achieve performance objectives in a time-sensitive and quality centered environment.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate initiative and reliability with minimal supervision.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>BS in a relevant field.</li>\n <li>3-5 years’ experience managing a team in the truss manufacturing industry.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Physical Work Requirements - Medium: exerting up to 25 lbs of force regularly.</li>\n <li>Repetitive motion associated with operating equipment.</li>\n <li>Regular exposure to the elements.</li>\n <li>Frequent bending, standing, lifting, and ongoing physical activity.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, efforts, or work conditions associated with this job.
