To ensure that emphasis in Y sports programs is always on participation, inclusion, fun and fair play. Our facility monitors and sports assistants will foster skill development, promote exercise and health, and instill values that will lead to a positive experience in sports.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Arrives to scheduled shifts at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled start.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Responsible for supervision of indoor gymnasium/track and outdoor field and track, as well as all equipment.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Maintain participant and spectator safety at all times.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Maintains records as required (i.e. attendance, progress reports, etc.)&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Attends staff meetings and trainings as scheduled.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Follows all YMCA policies, rules, regulations and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures.
