Be part of the team that makes this happen!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p>We are looking for a <strong>Cylinder Exchange Technician</strong> to support <strong>field cylinder exchanges&nbsp;</strong>which provide quick, reliable, and compliant refrigerant cylinder exchange services for HVAC and mechanical contractors. The Cylinder Exchange technician will be on the front lines of this effort&mdash;building customer relationships, delivering and picking up refrigerant cylinders, setting up new accounts, and supporting recovery service operations.</p><p>This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, is tech-savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced, service-focused environment.</p><p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:</p><p><br></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Work with management and sales to build new customers and maintain client base</li><li>Strive to meet gas recovery and buyback goals</li><li>Perform <strong>daily route-based delivery and pick-up</strong> of refrigerant cylinders to/from customer locations (e.g., HVAC contractors, mechanical shops, chiller plants)</li><li>Complete <strong>digital work orders</strong> including cylinder weights, types and quantities on a timely basis</li><li>Identify and communicate potential sales opportunities for recovery, cylinder exchange, and refrigerant buyback</li><li>Maintain vehicle safety, inventory control, and readiness of all field equipment. Take proper care of assigned vehicle by keeping it clean, in good condition and maintained according to the manual.</li><li>Represent Hudson Technologies with <strong>professionalism and a commitment to safety and service excellence</strong></li><li>Ensure compliance with all DOT, EPA, and OSHA regulations</li><li>Assist in minor service support or recovery projects when needed</li><li>Follow company processes, procedures, safety standards and schedules with respect to daily activities. Provide reporting on job progress for added visibility.</li><li>Demonstrate orientation toward excellent customer service by conducting daily activities, communications, and interactions in a cooperative, positive, and professional manner.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Assist with depot shipping/receiving and delivery of product and equipment with respect to recovered refrigerant.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform maintenance on company equipment to ensure performance when in use.</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Use <strong>Microsoft Teams and other digital platforms</strong> to communicate with the operations and sales team</li><li>Track activity using <strong>CRM software</strong> (e.g., Insightly) and maintain up-to-date communication using Microsoft Teams and other company platforms</li></ul><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Perform any other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Basic Qualifications:&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>A high school diploma or GED is required</li><li>1-3 years of related industry or mechanical experience&nbsp;</li></ul><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Self-motivated and driven to succeed</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Excellent technical, communication, and organizational skills</li></ul><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Experience with a proven track record in customer satisfaction</li><li>Clean and valid state driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>Knowledge of Industrial Cooling and Refrigeration Systems</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Strong technical/computer skills &mdash; daily use of <strong>CRM, Microsoft Teams, digital work orders, and tablets</strong></li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><p>Preferred Qualifications:</p><p><br></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>CDL Class B with HazMat Endorsement&nbsp;or ability to obtain within 90 days (required condition of employment)</li><li>EPA 608 universal certification required&nbsp;</li><li>HazMat experience a plus</li><li>DOT Medical Card&nbsp;preferred</li><li>Familiarity with common MS Office tools (MSOffice)</li><li>Must pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screening</li><li>Willingness to work outdoors and travel within the assigned territory</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Physical Demands:</p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Must be able to work outside in the weather-related elements</li><li>A lot of time will be spent in the truck, driving</li><li>This position entails very heavy work which requires exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally (possibly up to 350 pounds), and/or in excess of 75 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force constantly to move/lift objects</li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk or hear</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><br></p>\n<br/>Monday - Friday<br/>7:30am - 4pm",
