We're on a mission to craft nature-inspired playgrounds, outdoor learning environments and nature center facilities that spark imagination and hope you consider applying to join our team!</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Overview: </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> The Seasonal Construction &amp; Playscape Technician is responsible for supporting the mission of the ODC Network through the execution of construction and improvement projects for playscapes, buildings and grounds and property management.  The employee is responsible for supporting the mission of the ODC Network through these activities in addition to being a positive representative of the organization in the community.</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">ODC Network Diversity Policy Statement:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">The ODC Network is an equal-opportunity employer. </span><a href=\"https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Yc5HbkUwQcfkJ43S1Ma6g_6WPNPYSKoO6dZIYrutLVk/edit?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Click here</span></a><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> to read our diversity statement.</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Duties and Responsibilities: </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Work with Playscape crew to prepare and install projects in a professional and timely manner. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Work with various power tools to finish logs and assist in installing custom playground equipment. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Assist with installing all aspects of landscapes and hardscapes for Natural Playscape projects. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">All other duties as assigned by the VP of Operations </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Desired Skills: </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Landscaping and site work experience </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">General carpentry skills (skill saw, mitre saw, table saw, etc.) </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Heavy equipment safe use and operation </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Chainsaw safe use and operation </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Rigging and lifting </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Vehicle operation </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">General Labor  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Strong ability to work both collaboratively and independently, strong interpersonal skills in a team setting. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Successfully pass a background check and have a valid driver's license. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Education/Experience/Requirements:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">High school diploma preferred but not required</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">One year of comparable experience in new construction buildings, grounds, parks/playscapes, equipment maintenance and operations preferred but not required</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Must be at least 18 years old </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Physical Demands:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">This position requires the ability to work outside in all weather conditions. Must be able to occasionally lift to 75 pounds, walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Equipment Operated:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Must be able to operate a tractor, lawn mower, chainsaws, utility vehicles and other construction equipment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications, Google, and the operation of general office equipment.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">These job responsibilities represent only the essential and most significant duties of the position.
