Participates in and teaches patient care planning and reporting. Communicates relevant information to individuals directly involved in patient care. Serves as a clinical instructor, supervisor and mentor. Performs manager and coordinator duties as needed. Serves as technical specialist on daily tasks and cases. Regularly models/mentors and trains staff on technical skills.</p>\n<p>Job Requirements:</p>\n<div>\n <p>Education and Work Experience:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD): Required; only if obtained license on or after January 2007; or foreign equivalent.</li>\n  <li>Three years' technical experience: Preferred</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <p>Licenses/Certifications:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice: Required</li>\n  <li>Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <p>Facility Specific License/Certifications:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Basic Life Support (BLS)&nbsp;certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <p>Essential Functions:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Performs and documents consultations, evaluations and assessments. Identifies problem areas and abnormal findings. Implements appropriate advanced clinical tests.</li>\n  <li>Performs patient care, plans treatment programs, evaluates intervention responses and modifies treatment plans appropriately.
