The Clinics regularly receive national awards from the Health Resources and Services Administrations (HRSA). </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Family Medicine Primary Care Physicians provides high-quality primary care to patients of Marin Community Clinics (MCC), consistent with their training and expertise, and appropriate to the ambulatory care setting provided. Performs as a Primary Care Provider (PCP) with an assigned patient panel</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Our Mission </strong></p>\n<p>To promote health and wellness through excellent, compassionate care for all.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Signin Bonus -</strong></p>\n<p>$100k-$120k Signing bonus available for select applicants (specific program terms apply).</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides high quality, evidence-based comprehensive outpatient primary care for an assigned patient panel consistent with their specialty training (e.g. Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine) and privileging.</li>\n <li>Conducts routine preventive care, acute and urgent care, and follow up care for the management of chronic health conditions.</li>\n <li>Provides consultation to mid-level practitioners working at the clinic consistent with their medical specialty.</li>\n <li>Participates in quality management activities as assigned by the Medical Director.</li>\n <li>Participates in the direction and development of health care services provided by Marin Community Clinics as a member of the primary health care team.</li>\n <li>In addition to regularly scheduled shifts, must be able to work a minimum of three (3) 4-hour Saturday shifts per calendar year, providing medical care to patients within the standard scope of practice. Requirement begins after 90-day training period and compensation for coverage to be outlined in offer.In addition to regularly schedule shifts, required to be available to respond to after-hour calls regarding critical lab results for adult patients throughout the organization for a minimum of 2 weeks per year. Requirement begins after 90-day training period and compensation for coverage to be outlined in offer.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned by supervising Medical Director. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Family Medicine Doctor with three 3-5 years of clinical experience which may include residency in a directly related medical</li>\n <li>Valid and unrestricted license issued by the Medical Board of California to practice medicine.</li>\n <li>Board certified or Board Eligible in specified area of medical specialty.</li>\n <li>Current registration issued by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) allowing the prescription of controlled substances.</li>\n <li>Prior work experience in outpatient health care setting - Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is desired.</li>\n <li>EPIC Electronic Health Records (EHR) experiences a plus.</li>\n <li>Must maintain Continued Medical Education (CME) as required for certification renewals.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills and Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bilingual English/Spanish is highly desired. </li>\n <li>Effective verbal and written communication skills in English is required. </li>\n <li>Ability to see an average of 18-22 patients per full 8 hour day of clinic.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care. </li>\n <li>Knowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids and ability to prescribe dosages and instruct patients in correct usage. </li>\n <li>Knowledge of community medical diagnostic and patient care services in area of medical expertise. </li>\n <li>Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards. </li>\n <li>Knowledge of current principles, methods, and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment in area of expertise.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel. </li>\n <li>Ability to mentor, provide advice, and train clinical professionals, PA's/NP's and/or students in area of expertise. </li>\n <li>Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<strong>Practice Highlights:</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Marin Community Clinics offers a truly community-based primary care practice where providers build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and make a lasting impact on the health of the communities they serve.</li>\n <li>Signing Bonus (if eligible)</li>\n <li>Relocation Bonus</li>\n <li>Beautiful Marin County, close proximity to SF.</li>\n <li>Enjoy a more efficient workflow with AI scribe support designed to streamline charting and improve provider experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p>\n<p>Our benefits program is designed to protect your health, family and way of life.
