In this role, you’ll have the ability to collaborate with EXP’s team in St. John’s and across the Atlantic region on some of Eastern Canada’s largest and most exciting projects! Your Role & Responsibilities: Assist with planning, field work, and reporting environmental investigation projects (Phase I, II ESA’s, Detailed Site Investigation, Remediation). Groundwater and surface water sampling and monitoring. Field testing, monitoring and supervision of remediation projects. Supervision of subsurface investigations. Assessment of sites for hazardous materials. Indoor air quality testing Coordinating fieldwork. Qualifications & Experience: Four years of relevant experience in a related field. Diploma from a recognized technical school. Association registration or eligibility for registration (P.Tech, CET, etc.) Familiarity with Environmental Regulations in Atlantic Canada an asset. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Willingness to work both outside and in an office environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong computer skills using word processing, spreadsheet, and graphics applications such as MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD, GIS. Proficient problem-solving skills. Must have a reliable way to getting to job sites. This job posting is for an existing position vacancy within our organization.
