Wilmington Treatment Center is seeking a full-time Substance Use Disorder Registered Nurse to join the team in Wilmington, NC!

About Us: Wilmington Treatment Center is Northa Carolina's premier addiction rehab center and recovery hospital. We offer a complete continuum of care for detox, rehab services, residential, partial hospitalization and an intensive outpatient programming (IOP) to help our patient reach their goals.
Wilmington Treatment Center has been voted as one of the top substance use disorder treatment facilities in the country for the 5th year in a row! We also have the Joint Commission's 'Gold Seal' of approval!
What You’ll Do:
Assess patients’ behavioral and physical health needs and deliver compassionate, trauma‑informed nursing care.
Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing treatment plans throughout the continuum of care.
Safely administer medications, including behavioral health and detox protocols, with accurate documentation and controlled substance tracking.
Monitor patient status on an ongoing basis and communicate significant behavioral or medical changes to providers and the care team.
Educate patients and families, maintain compliant medical records, and adhere to nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
Establish therapeutic, professional relationships while collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team to support patient recovery.
What You Bring:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current, unrestricted RN license (or eligibility to practice) in the state of employment.
At least one year of nursing experience; behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance use treatment experience strongly preferred.
Current CPR certification and willingness to complete de‑escalation and restraint training (provided upon hire, if needed).
First Aid certification, as required by state or facility guidelines.
Strong clinical judgment, attention to documentation, and the ability to remain calm and therapeutic in behavioral health settings.
