Description

Alumni Coordinator Full-Time Bradford Health Services is an industry leader in effective and affordable drug and alcohol rehab programs. We offer 27 top-quality addiction treatment facilities across 7 southeast states including Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, North Carolina, Florida, Texas and Tennessee. Bradford has proudly served these communities for over 45 years. We are actively looking for an Alumni Coordinator to join our team at The Estate at River Bend with campuses in Lucedale and Gautier MS. This is a great opportunity to join an established industry leader where passion and team spirit are nurtured and rewarded! Entry Level Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences or related field preferred. Five years of marketing experience required. Minimum 4 years experience in chemical dependency treatment setting. Must have good communication skills both written and verbal. Must be skilled in use of office equipment (i.e., computer, fax machine, copy machine) and computer technology. Along with Corporate Director of Marketing assist with layout and design of newsletters. Must have good organizational skills and able to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to make presentations before groups. 1. Must be able to see in each eye and hear (hearing aid acceptable). 2. Must have valid Driver's License. 3. Must be able to walk three to four miles per eight hour shift. 4. Must be able to lift marketing display weighing approximately 50 lbs. 5. If recovering, must have four (2) years of continuous, verifiable abstinence. General Responsibilities: Plan and implement a program to facilitate the involvement of patients and their family with their local recovering community upon their transfer to Continuing Care. Plans, organizes, and implements the marketing, sales and community relations efforts system-wide within Bradford and in the recovery community. Know and abide by the general provisions of 42 CFR Part 2, “Confidentiality of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Patient Records”; and 45 CFR “Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act”. This position has limited access to patient health information. Essential Functions : 1. Establish and update a list of Alumni willing to actively serve as “Bridge Partners”. 2. Coordinate the assigning of recent “graduates to a Bridge Partner” in or near their home community. 3. Plan and coordinate local activities in conjunction with alumni groups and C.C. 4. Work with the Corporate Marketing Director to publish a quarterly newsletter for distribution to involved alumni, EAP’s, etc. 5. Maintain a mailing list of alumni for use by local facilities, alumni groups, etc. 6. Serve as liaison to alumni groups. 7. Assures actualization of Bradford Marketing philosophy. 8. Support local Bradford volunteer/alumni coordinators. 9. Coordinates Recharge Events and Banquets for Alumni and Continuing Care. 10. Creates community recovery events throughout the communities Bradford serves. 11. Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness as to perform the job in a safe manner. 12. Must be able to work in a cooperative manner with co-workers, managers, clients and prospective clients. 13. Regular attendance.
