We are dedicated to delivering innovative and quality driven products!\n\n Position Overview: \nThe Manufacturing Engineering Specialist supports daily manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives for the assigned Carfair production facility. This role partners closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, HSE, and Engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes, improve operational performance, and support a safe, efficient, and high quality production environment. The successful candidate is a hands on technical professional who thrives in a fast paced manufacturing setting and contributes to Lean manufacturing, process improvement, troubleshooting, and production support activities.\n\n Key Responsibilities: \n\n Provide day to day technical support to production operations by troubleshooting manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and equipment issues.\n Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction.\n Collaborate cross functionally with Production, Maintenance, Quality, HSE, and Engineering teams to achieve operational targets and drive corrective actions.\n Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives including 5S, value stream mapping, setup reduction, standard work, and waste elimination activities.\n Assist with process optimization, workflow improvements, and implementation of best manufacturing practices.\n Support engineering and production teams with new product introductions, engineering changes, and process validation activities.\n Act as a liaison between Engineering and the production floor to ensure clear communication and timely resolution of technical issues.\n Communicate customer engineering change notices and provide production feedback regarding manufacturability or process concerns.\n Work with external suppliers and vendors to resolve equipment, tooling, or quality related issues.\n Perform minor fixture adjustments, part layout activities, trimming, and support first article inspections (FAI) as required.\n Conduct measurements and inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.\n Maintain accurate documentation related to manufacturing processes, process changes, and continuous improvement activities.\n Stay current with manufacturing technologies, production methods, and industry best practices to support ongoing operational advancement.\n Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement, and workplace safety.\n Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.\n\n Requirements\n\n Qualifications and Experience \n\n Post secondary education in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.\n Eligibility for CET, C.Tech., or P.Eng. designation considered an asset.\n Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with a hands on approach to problem solving.\n Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment.\n Demonstrated ability to work effectively within cross functional teams.\n Experience supporting production operations, process improvements, or manufacturing engineering activities preferred.\n Experience with 3D modeling or CAD software is considered an asset.\n\n Benefits\n\n WHY JOIN OUR TEAM: \n\n•         Day 1 benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability programs.\n\n•         401k eligibility with 100% vesting of employer match!\n\n•         The ability to advance your career with a growing company.\n\n•         Employee development through a variety of training initiatives.\n\n•         We enjoy numerous employee events throughout the year.\n\nWe exist to move people.
